I love random conversations with my 6 year old! We were in the car on Monday and I was asking him to tell me what he knew about the Christmas story and what he learned at church the day before. Here is how it went.
Me: What is something that you remember from the story yesterday?
Carter: Mom, I just can't tell you!
Me: Why not?
Carter: Well...... I'm just saying that I hope an angel never comes and tell me I'm getting married, that would be just AWFUL!!!
Me: Are you talking about the angel who talked to Mary?
Carter: Yes!
Me: While trying really hard not to laugh, I really don't think you need to worry about that!
Carter: Not too convinced, I guess.

Christmas in Kindergarten
Carter had lots of fun activities last week at school! On Wednesday they decorated gingerbread houses and had their Christmas party.
Thursday was pajama day. They also had a walking field trip.
Friday was his class play. It was so cute! They each had a part in reading The Night Before Christmas, played the handbells, recited a poem, and sang.
It was a great week and I can't believe the first half of his kindergarten year is over. He is doing so well and we are so grateful for his wonderful teacher!
Christmas at Bellingrath
Last week we went to Bellingrath Gardens to see their Christmas lights with our small group. You walk through the diplays and it was really pretty. Luckily the weather was perfect the night we went. It was a great night and we had alot of fun!

Only Aidan...
So I hear Aidan messing with the Christmas tree earlier today. This is what I saw! Like every good parent I quickly took a video before he was properly punished. :) I'm really not so sure that Aidan is a fan of Christmas! Every morning he completely dismantles the manger scene(I still can't find baby Jesus), he threw Vixen, our elf on the shelf, across the room multiple times, and now he is attacking the tree. The joys of Christmas with a 15 month old!

Fairhope Christmas Parade
We went to the Fairhope Christmas Parade tonight. It was definately cold enough to get into the Christmas spirit! We met friends for dinner before and then walked up to watch the parade. We have such great friends and we had so much fun! Here are some pics from our night.
