Christmas Snow
It started snowing on Christmas night at in McDonough and we were excited to get home and see how much we had at our house the next day. We were excited to see at least 2 inches on the ground when we got home on Sunday afternoon. It was way to cold and windy to play in until today. We went out this morning and had a little fun in what was left. Aidan is so not a fan of the white stuff, but that's really not surprising! :)

Christmas Round 2
After we wrapped up Christmas morning at our house we headed down to my parents for round 2! It was a great time and we are all beyond blessed with everything! The pictures are not great quality because they were taken on my phone but the memories are great!
Carter couldn't wait for Uncle Tim to open his present.
A big dog from Uncle Tim!
Carter passed out the gifts, after he found as many as he could with his name on them!
Aidan decided that Carter was taking too long and he started passing out gifts, he can't read obviously so it pretty much went downhill from there! :)
Happy Birthday Jesus!
Christmas Morning
We had a crazy Christmas Eve. I woke up with a stomach virus that had me down all day and Aidan had a fever for most of the day. That messed up a lot of plans but thankfully we were all well enough to enjoy Christmas Day! Ryan's mom spent the night with us on Christmas Eve and we really enjoyed having her with us on Christmas morning!
Ready to go and see what Santa left!
A DS finally!
Aidan was a little overwhelmed wth the whole present opening thing but his favorite part of his stocking was the chocolate!
Santa 2010
Here is our official 2010 Santa Picture. As you can see Aidan is still not a fan! The very helpful elves quickly whisked him off of his lap and Carter and Santa had a nice conversation! While we waited for our time slot we the boys played lunar golf (glow in the dark golf course) and we had a cookie break.

Oh...
how I love these two faces!!! I also love that we have parents that will help us out with them and allow us to have a much needed break. The boys have been with my parents for the past few days. I have gotten more done in two days than I have in about 3 months it feels like! We are ready for Christmas and I'm excited to spend the last few days of the season with Carter and Aidan without having a mounting to do list hanging over my head!

Merry Christmas, First Grade Style
Since I am back to teaching full time this year and I teach across town from Carter's school I havent been able to attend many of his school activities. I made it a point to take a half a day to be at his Christmas Party on Friday. He thanked me several times for coming. I was so happy that I could be there with him. They made a Christmas tree ornament, decorated a gingerbread man and then opened their present from his teacher. It has been such a great first half of the year. We are excited to see what the second half brings!
