Heroes

We all have heroes, who all do remarkable things.  We are lucky when we really get to know our hero and see how they have evolved into that "hero."  I have always looked up to and been proud of my sister in the past.  Nothing compares to the feeling I have for her now.  She truly is one of my heroes!  I stand in complete awe of the journey that she is about to embark on!  She truly is becoming the hands and feet that God has called all of us to be.  She will be moving to the Philippines in a few weeks to serve with IJM and help girls who have been rescued from the sex slave industry there.  She is leaving everything behind and answering the call God has given her.  To say we are proud is an understatement.  God doesn't call everyone to something as "radical" as she is doing.  However He does want us to help those that are going by praying and giving.  Please pray for Sallie as she finishes her final preparations before she leaves, and continue to pray for her while she is there.  She does still need to raise financial support.  Please contact me at cathielkelly@gmail.com if you feel led to support her in this way.  Every little bit will help her reach her $17,000 goal.
